Overview

The Egyptian Institute of Directors was established in 2003 under the umbrella of the Ministry of Foreign Trade to be the first institute in the Middle East, and North Africa (MENA) region, focusing on ESG “Environmental, Social and Governance” topics.

Memberships

EIoD Membership is available to different types of members such as sponsors, corporate, and individual members that are interested in the application and enhancement of good ESG practices in Egypt and the MENA region.

Services

The EIoD created and further raised awareness among Board Directors, CEOs, Key Executives, and Investors. Conferences, Seminars and Workshops tailored to fulfill the needs of the respective audience, and conducted to serve the purpose of awareness rising.

Publications

As part of its efforts to raise awareness and promote a culture of governance, the Egyptian Directors Center has been developing and publishing governance guidelines since its inception. These guidelines aim to help those interested in this field understand governance concepts and their implementation mechanisms according to best practices.

Since its establishment, the Egyptian Directors Center has published several guides that have contributed to establishing a framework for corporate governance in Egypt and supporting the achievement of governance objectives. Among the most prominent are:
